Because SMILE Pro changes the physical shape of the cornea, that change does not simply 'wear off'. What it cannot do is freeze your eyes in time. Presbyopia — the natural loss of near focus that affects almost everyone from their 40s — will still develop, and age-related changes such as cataract can occur years later.
